Went to Amsterdam again with Angus, 3-6th December :) Stayed on a botel, yes, a botel, a boat that is a hotel. I was ill the whole time due to it rocking about lol but i stilled loved it.
Going to the panto on Christmas Eve with Angus and all his family. Cousin Simon is staying over the festive period, so will be good catching up with him :) No idea about New Year, will be 1 year and 8 months for Angus and i on the 1st!

January 5th Angus' brother is getting married in Inverness, so i am really looking forward to that too :)

Going to see Bob Dylan with Angus and his mummy and daddy too!

Met The Mighty Boosh in November, went back to their hotel, bought MJ and a few others (team rad) drinks and had a wee cheeky line with noel and jullian in the loos, classy lads!

So, i haven't updated this in 2008 yet so i am doing so right now.

New Year was pretty shite - stuck in my bed alone drinking raspbery crusha - hello 08.

I haven't managed to do so many things as i have planned at the start of the year due to having the cold, then the flu then loads of other really crap problems with my health - I hate Christmas and all the cold with it, please do not come back ANY TIME SOON.
I've been to the cinema a few times, the usual Orange Wednesdays :)

For Angus' 21st i'm taking him to Calella. It's all been booked up and paid for by me and we are both really looking forward to it. Finally i get to share it with someone and not just go get steamin' out my face and trample home at God knows what hour then sleeping all day missing out on other things i could be doing there. Yeah of course we will get steamin' and trample home at God knows which hour but this time it will be different. I want to try go into Barcalona as much as i can and see things i haven't before too. In March i'm going with my college so i can plan places to go then. I wanted to take him to Italy but it's way too expensive so we decided to go somewhere i know and somewhere that will be safe for a first time holiday :).

NEXT contract ran out and i had an interview for Cineworld, they will get back to me within 3-4 days so i NEED to get this job.

I'm extremely happy.

Her mother booked the wrong flight home, so she will be back Saturday.
Anyway, Arty was actually really good, enjoyed myself thoroughly. Went with MJ, Terry, Andrew and MJ's new guy Chris who is dead nice. Went to a party which was also surprisingly enjoyable - it was PACKED! Managed to leave no bother at 6amish and got myself on the first x25 bus i could get. Didn't take any nonscence which made me feel so much better through the night and right now. Already had my sleep!

I actually love that wee hamster SO SO SO SO SO FUCKING MUCH. He is actually best wee pet i've ever had. Paul is actually so unbelievably funny i really can't get over it.

Gus and I woke up today, y'know just waking up an that then i stood up and looked at wee Paul's cage. Paul had actually dragged all the newspaper and cotton bedding etc out of his house and now it is taking up all his cage on the bottom floor where he has made himself a wee cove to sleep in and he even has a bit of flyer ripped as a door typed thing - i am not fucking kidding on. His red house is now where he stores his food. Then he started tidying up around his newly built house and has the cage in good order.

I've just been pottering around, reading things, watching things and all of a sudden i had this rush of excitement and giddiness that overwelmed me.

I do not expect anybody to read that entire thing at all, fuck knows what i was thinking writing millions. Even the style of the writing chops and changing, fuck knows why! Anyway photographs inside.

What a time that was.

Thursday - Took the train into Glasgow Queen Street and headed my way down to Borders book shop to meet Natalya, Colin and Robbie to catch the train to Prestwick to start the adventure and hop on a plane to Barcelona Reus.

My bag was so fucking heavy and i was trying to stick it in the hand-luggage thing to see if i was able to take it on the plane. It hardly fitted, however i still managed to take it on board.
After a really pleasant flight, watching the sunset and go into complete darkness, listening to my music we were finally at Rues Airport in Barcelona.

We waited for ages to get the bus which cost us 19 fucking Euros, so we made some rollies then had a coffee inside the airport while we waited. The bus journey took 1 hour and 20 minutes, which i actually enjoyed because of the banter i had with Natalya about a certain boy, silly girls and people from school and general chit chat.

Finally we arrived at Barcelona Sants where you get the train to Calella, however that wasn't where we were going, so we hopped on a Metro to Passeig de Garcia where the hostel was. Went in paid, for our room and waited for Colin and Robbie to get back from the shops with booze and fags, however this didn't happen, they went to the bar because they couldn't find any shops open!
Natalya and i got ready then we all set off to MOOG! On the way we jumped in a taxi and we could actually smoke inside the taxi! No chance of that happening here.
Stopped off at this little shop where they sold pastries and pizza so we got some pizza and i also got this chocolate croissant and it had all this actual beautiful runny chocolate inside, it was so good. Washed it all down with some bottles of San Miguel then walked to MOOG!

It was basically just like Art School but in Barcelona. Natalya and i felt like such idiots though basically because we were the best dressed and everyone dresses pure shite in the clubs, it looks like nobody really makes much of an effort, however we did figure out that there we look like we dress like older people so it could explain why everyone stared at us everywhere and anywhere we went, and because of our pale skin, but we like it that way haha. Anyway i am going off track, so, we danced about and Colin got us pills, Mickey Mouse ones which was yellow speckles! They were alright, i can't remember if i came up though, weren't strong enough i guess. However after being chatted to by some guys and the sorts, we left MOOG with this gay guy and his wee girl pal and people outside sell cans of beer for 1 euro which was amazing because we don't get that here! So we were walking up and down Las Ramblas with this gay guy, his pal me and Robbie, as Natalya was feeling tired so Colin walked her back to the hotel. I felt pretty fucked actually, i got to listen to my mp3 player – Mark Houle – Bay of Figs, walking up Las Ramblas fucked with a strawberry lolly! Which more could i actually ask for?! Apart from all my other friends.
After walking about supposedly going to a party i decided i wanted to go back to the hostel because i was going to Calella the next day. Walking back down a wee side street this black guy stopped us and said “Don't worry man i'm a drug dealer” then asked us if we wanted any cocaine fuck sake! I was shitting myself and fucking Robbie pure was talking about to him and trying to haggle, i was crapping myself because previously in the club Robbie and Colin disappeared and was going to buy coke off this Asian guy or a black guy, i can't remember, so they thought the guy said 8Euros (NAW OBVIOUSLY NOT BOYS DON'T BE SILLY HAHAHA), whoever it was 80Euros which is more than £40. So Colin and Robbie was making this deal with this guy then i think this Asian guy went over and told them not to buy it and then all these Black people came out and started a big fight with this wee Asian guy! WHAT THE FUCK, actually battering him. Trust Colin to be apart of something like that hahahaha!

After Robbie and i finally got this guy away we continued walking up the Las Ramblas and ended up meeting Colin and we took loads of photos about Placya Catalunya and photos of us going to the hostel which i don't have because i still need Colin to send me them from Robbie. Time 06.something, snooze time.

FRIDAY

12.something pm i quickly showered then made my way to Placya Catalunya to get the train to Calella! When i was walking down the street people just actually stare at you, mainly because i am pale as fuck and my clothes are a little more eccentric than the people who live in Barcelona during the months of March. After getting my return ticket i went down onto platform one and waited on the Blanes train. It felt so good standing there listening to my music and waiting on the train, it felt so weird, i was actually standing there going to that place, to be honest i felt so greatful that i was lucky enough to be given this opportunity and made me realise how much of a lucky person i am and i am forever thankful.
So i hopped onto the train, sat beside the window and turned my music up full blast and stared outside looking at the scummy side of Barcelona, then right onto the coastline of the Costa Brava. It was actually so fucking stunning! That was when i definitely knew i was experiencing something that doesn't happen just everyday. The way the sun started to come out and hit the Balearic Sea was absolutely breathtaking, i wish a few special people were there with me to experience it. After about 40 minutes into the journey an actual real live Spanish Downie sat beside me. NO JOKE. I want to take a photograph, however i thought that might have been the most obvious rude thing i could do, so i texted Sean instead. 20 minutes later i arrived in Calella! My throat started to choke up, i felt so stupid but anyway i stepped off the train and made my way down the stairs and under the tunnel then up the stairs again through the weird revolving...thing!

A lot of people stepped off the train to my surprise, i kept forgetting that people do actually live there and it isn't just a holiday place. I walked down the street to see if Hotel Miami was open but it wasn't, it had metal boards on the windows because it wasn't open for holidaymakers yet, so i walked back down the street and headed my way up Esglasia Street and looked in all the shop windows that were sadly closed due to the time i had arrived (siesta time). It felt quite weird i have to admit to be there at such a time of year, in a way i felt quite scared because i was alone, nobody else there in case something happened, there wouldn't have been many people to take pity if i was asking something either, i would be the “silly, vampire, weird tourist girl”.
On my way i was desperately looking for a cigarette machine and i couldn't find any either! I was so annoyed, however there was a few in the little bars but i was too embarrassed to go in and actually get some so i just continued going down the street on search for more. Unsuccessfully i got to the end of the very long street and i was at the Church square where they have replaced the sand-like ground to fucking tiles! I was actually raging they went on with that because they are now turning the old town into the fucking new town and it will not look as medieval as it should be.
After feeling a little frustrated i decided to call Andres and walk back down Esglasia Street and stopped off into one of the little bars where i got free lollipops once from with Rachael in the summer of 2006, then headed my way to Andres' house to meet him half way and finally i got to have a cigarette! In fact every time i went to meet him or anyone else there i am always smoking i feel like I'm a big dirty smoker who is ...well always smoking and i think it is actually really unattractive to the other person if they don't smoke. Anyway i was feeling a bit nervous and that smiling way that you can't stop doing...or the feeling you just want to burst into a laughing fit.
There he was walking towards me and done the whole “Hola” kiss one cheek then the other and we decided to walk and get his new friend Nacho. Aye his name is Nacho! And believe it or not him or Andres have never even had the food Nachos before. We walked past Cafe Antic and past Turisme 35 and i saw the owner and his two sons as well outside discussing something, then i walked past Avenue! So many good times. We walked even further down the new town to which i don't do very often and then we went onto the beach. It was so fucking nice, the temperature was right, the beach wasn't busy yet it wasn't deserted. It was actually Nachos first time walking on the sand in Calella, so it was a very special occasion! We sat and took some photos and a little video as well.

After all that malarkey we went to the little supermarket and i bought some crisps, a crunch bar and lime water then headed to Andres house, met his little mother and father again plus his cousin and i played about on the computer to which the time sadly represented itself at 18.09...or something like that so i had to go and get my train back to Barcelona which meant i was leaving Calella for another time, and Andres. Along the way to the train station Andres was trying to convince me to stay another day and cancel my flight and go to a club in Malgrat, but for obvious reasons and my bank balance that wasn't going to happen :(. I didn't feel as sad to leave this time, i felt more whole and for filled i guess, a nice warm comforting feeling instead of a heart breaking tormenting realization of back to reality feeling.
After a big hug i got on the train and i actually had to move seat from the lady in front of me because tears did start to form and yet again i was looking at the most beautiful sunset anyone could ever show me for that moment in my life. I actually LOVE sitting on that train watching the coastline listening to music, all kinds of music! It is so peaceful and for filling once again. After a few wee tears i started getting excited about the night ahead of me, RAZZMATAZZ, aye that club in that car advert.

I got into the hostel and Natalya and i got ready as the boys ventured out to smuggle in the booze which consisted of red wine and CAVA! I kept changing all the time, i was so bloated! Anyway we went to an all you can eat for 10Euro15 cents or something like that. COLIN WAS ACTUALLY IN LOVE WITH THE COFFEE MACHINE! I have never in my life, witnessed someone so enthusiastic about a coffee machine. We ate so much and i became even more bloated to which i had to take my belt off to the last notch and everyone knows I'm not a size 12 fatty, but a size 6/8, so i was really disappointed in myself i could actually wear my gold belt to that size, however totm doesn't help those matters. I made this ice cream!

Eaten a lot, changed my outside yet again, all feeling sorry for ourselves and out bloated stomachs we drank some more then headed to the metro and made our way to Razzmatazz to which Natalya and i left Colin and Robbie who fucked off somewhere we had no idea where because we don't fucking live there, so we walked about for an hour maybe chatting about things which was really nice and working out if we should go in or not just in case we might lose them the rest of the time we were there, taking on board all the risks, we thought fuck it and went in, we couldn't let our last night go to ruins because of two silly boys doing God knows what! We went in, all was good then we thought “oh my fucking God”, the place was massive, millions of rooms, floors, underground floors things you name it, and luckily we bumped into Colin and Robbie. Fucking bastards didn't wait on us, pure went in and left us floating around a town in Barcelona we had never been to. Anyway we went into a few rooms, got the usual chat from the Spaniards, got steaming, many chats and lots of disappearing acts from the lads, however we were not complaining we got to look about and find new talent and explore in general! Got really drunk near the end and we all decided that we didn't want to go back to Scotland, we actually had everything planned out with our remaining money which was like 10euros and decided we were going to live there and just get a job quickly somehow and that we could definitely manage! Hahahahahaha even when we woke up the next day we were all serious too.

SATURDAY

Woken up really horribly hungover. Quickly showered and left our rooms at 11am which was fucking disgusting! Went into H&M and it just made us all really angry that everything in H&M SPAIN is so much fucking better than shitty UK by far. They have so much amazing things i can't explain to you (felt like Valz saying that there haha) how it felt not being able to buy any of it, however Colin did by his sunglasses to match Natalyas and we set off to Barcelons Sants on the train to put all of out luggage in so we could spend the day around Barcelona.

Barcelona Sants looked like the scummy part of Barcelona, in fact, it was. It was the Gorbals and Castlemilk of the City. We walked on this main actual road thing like actual fannies then we just kept walking for hours down the one long street because it was that long but as we walked further it became nicer and safer. Saw some skaters and thought of Megan and Valerie.

Then we stopped off at a sex shop along the way where other tourists started taking photos of me when Natalya was hahaha. We went in and my God, there was actual wanking booths. A place where you could choose a video to watch and close the cubical door and go at it! There was a sign that said one person in at a time though, but i didn't see one person that worked there at all and we were all in there for quite some time looking at everything. Downstairs was full of dildos and sex toys in general.

So aye that was the sex shop. Then we were trying to find a nice little place for a coffee then all these moterbikes and mopeds were going past...for about 15 minutes, no joke, protesting with flags with a picture on it of a person walking and a red line over it basically saying “NO TO WALKING” hahahaha it was insane! They were blowing their horns the entire time as well.

Coffe, chats, cigarettes and beer walking around and getting burnt and shopping centres were to come and i enjoyed every single minute of it as well. I guess all i can say now is, time was up and here are the rest of the photos. There is hardly or none of me because they were taken on the Friday when i was away to Calella.

We also found a store called “VERY CHEAP”.

I´m in Barcelona right now.
I went to Calella today.
I want to go back now.
Summer time i am going to stay there for maybe 3 weeks.
Go to Sonar in Barcelona first, then go to Calella for 2 or 3 weeks.
I want a job more than ever now, i don´t care.
Sometimes you need these type of things to kick my arse.

I wish EVERYONE was with me right now.
Calella is opening up a club called "europic" or something and is going to be dedicated to electro dance and techno FUCKING YES!!!! YES! That means Calella is going to have everything i will ever need in it now.

I went to the Buff last night, took ket, it was terrible, freaked out, then went to the place where i first met Kim. Was fun!
9am went job hunting, managed to get a h&m application form and something about an interview on valentines day.
Went to my daddys work and annoyed him for a while, bumped into Trudi went to Sainsburys for lunch and then got my fucking phone PICK POCKETED from my fucking jacket!

This has happened to Sainsburys alot recently they said, full of shoplifters and pick pockets. The person turned my phone off and everything and Sainsburys called the police blah blah blah, got some good banter from the staff, then went home.

Still awake. I don't feel that tired actually.

So i don't have to repeat my fucking pick pocket stroy i'll do a blog on myspace.

I don’t smile inside, not as wide, anyway. My thoughts won’t leave me. They linger, like ghosts, hovering near consciousness. More often than not, they become solid and tangible, they allow my mind to touch them, to feel them. They are front and center. But they belong to the past - these thoughts. They are memories, and they confuse me. I have lived these moments, witnessed them, been there for the real thing.

I have this thing about memories. I like having a living memory strand. I like to look back at being in love and see the flashback of images and feelings of times gone by. I like the idea that each day continues this thin strand of new events that continues all the way back to the beginning. A long strand of the good and the bad. But relationships change, people change, and the strand is altered. The cut-off of new memories connected with that time is difficult for me. There are not new memories to make connected to those others, not in the same way. New memories carry the burden of being related, but not connected. There is a break, so to speak, and the former strand is now only a warehouse of what was. As they say, things change. Things are never as they were. You can celebrate these memories and their passing, their joy, but only when you’re ready to give them the emotion they contain. I am not yet ready.

I realize new memories with the same people can happen, will happen, and they can be positive and good. Very good. Even better, perhaps. This is only a mental diagram to explain what I’m thinking. I may also give the impression I am not looking forward. I am. I am looking forward so hard it hurts. Maybe I’m trying too hard. Maybe it’s just got to happen, to come naturally. But to look forward you have to see where you’ve come from and I guess I’m one to look back more often than might be necessary. I guess I’m still mourning and the memories won’t leave me alone.

These memories sometimes make me smile and sometimes make me cry. Some day I expect them all to make me smile, when the experience is far away and the timeline stretched out until memory becomes distant and reality blends with some idyllic version of the truth. I’m sure the first memories we made have already reached that point to some extent, anyway. But I am looking forward to those moments, those days when the box of trinkets I collected: the cards, the pictures, the post-its with doodles and scrawled funnies on them - can make me smile more than they make me cry.

So, when do you stop being in love? Whenever you’re ready.

Last night i was so bored...well actually i wasn't bored, i was in a mood that i don't know the word for.
I cut my hair.
I'm becoming a little too obsessed with Amelie Poulian.
Near enough Amelie's haircut, and i've dyed my hair...well it is nearly dyed just waiting now.
See i cut it myself, it looks alright, my mum is very impressed actually, but i will need someone to shave some of it and things, i don't care about the unevenness and things, it is alright :)

I'm going to start trying to not use the computer as much anymore. It will be really hard because it is all i do in my parents house. When i move out it will be fine :)

Artschool tonight! Megan is coming! and i'm meeting Suzi and Jack aswell to go to the pub quiz at 6pm. I cannot wait! hahaha last week i went and our team lost every single round so we won - 3 George Michael albums, a Wham! album, a big bag of these rock-like sweets and a poetry on like love and naked people aha.

Since i was 11 or 12 i have been on this thing and i would never come off.
